Ruth A. Kenyon

ALBANY – Ruth Anna Kenyon, 82, of Albany, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, Guilderland.  Mrs. Kenyon was born in Sturgis, MI, but lived most of her life in Albany.  She was employed by the New York State Dept. of Taxation & Finance for ten years.  She also was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Guilderland, and an active member of Christ Lutheran Church Women.  She also enjoyed carefully tending her flower gardens.

Mrs. Kenyon is survived by her beloved husband Alan D. Kenyon; her son Douglas H. Kenyon and his wife Ginger of Kennebunk, ME; her daughter Diane L. Dichiara and her husband John of Murrells Inlet, SC; her brothers Frederick Zeeb and his wife Faye of Marshall, MI, and Paul Zeeb and his wife Mary of Sturgis, MI; her grandchildren Jason, Sarah, Beth and Jeffrey Kenyon, all of Maine; and her great grandchildren Alyssa and Benjamin Dubois.  She was predeceased by her brother William Zeeb.

Funeral services will be held in Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Western Ave., Albany at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany.  To leave a message of condolence for the family please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
