ALBANY – Torre Lyn Kingston Rosenzweig, 50, of Albany, peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, November 5, 2022 after a courageous 15 year journey with ALS.  Torre’s endurance can be attributed to the loving support and care given to her by her beloved husband and her strong will and determination to see her boys grow into incredible young men. Torre was born and lived in Albany most of her life, aside from three years when she resided in Florida.  She earned her Associates Degree from SUNY Delhi and found her calling as part of the team at Frangella Associates in Delmar.

Torre is survived by her devoted husband John H. Rosenzweig; her sons John T. “Jack” and Myles H. Rosenzweig of Albany; her parents Thomas J. Kingston and Diane J. Jones Kingston of Albany; her sisters Alyssa McCoy (Daniel), Raigen Lynch (John), Britt Foley (Michael), and Gillian Flynn (Kevin); her brother Trey Kingston (Elizabeth), all of Albany; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Jack and Janet Rosenzweig of Latham; her sisters-in-law Lisa Ramundo of Slingerlands, Andrea Morello (Nicholas) of Connecticut, Megan Monette (Jay) of Colonie, and Lynn Sidoti (Anthony) of Loudonville; her brother in law Michael Rosenzweig of Latham, and her nieces and nephews:  Matthew, Christopher, Kevin, Case, Ava, Egan (Vincent), Tyghe, Taryn, John Patrick,  Keilen, Hagen, Kennedy, Cassidy, Brodey, Kade, Connor, Kathleen, and great niece Isla. Torre was predeceased by her grandparents Col. Harry and June Jones and Samuel and Virginia Kingston.

Calling hours will be held at Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Unity Lutheran Church, 1500 Western Ave, Guilderland at 10 am.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Hospital ALS Regional Center, 19 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY 12205.  To leave a message of condolence for the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.

I was inspired to hear about the love she had for her family, and they for her.
