Roy was a great person with an exceptional kind heart. He loved animals, and years ago he and Lia adopted a cat from us that we could no longer keep. We will always remember their kindness and generosity. We will miss his great sense of humor and wonderful photographs of all of his deer and other beloved kitties and wildlife. Rest in peace, Roy. You will be greatly missed, but your contribution to the betterment of this world will surely reward you in your journey into the universe. We will never forget you and we love you.

Both my husband Ricardo and I benefitted from Roy Elk’s help many times during our years at the University at Albany.
It was always a pleasure to work with him!
