Margaret A. Martin

ALBANY - Margaret Ann "Peg" Maher Martin, 92, of Albany, passed away on (day), (date). Peg was born in Saratoga Springs, and was a graduate of St. Peter's Academy in Saratoga Springs and of the St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Amsterdam. She lived in Amsterdam, Odgensburg, Syracuse and Buffalo before settling in Albany in 1974. She was employed by Schoolhouse Road Pediatrics for many years, and was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and the former St. Margaret Mary's Church, where she was a member of the Granny Squares.

Peg was predeceased by her husband Charles Edgar Martin. She is survived by her son William P. Martin (Lori) of Rotterdam; her daughter M. Joy McAlister (Frank) of Colonie; her sister Katherine LeClair (Eugene) of Two Rivers, WI; her grandchildren Michael T. Maloney, Kathleen J. Maloney, Brendon W. Martin, and Lauren A. O'Driscoll; her grandson-in-law Richard Miller; her great grandchildren Penelope and Lincoln Martin, Liam Martin, Cameran Hofmann, and Tadhg and Lorelei O'Driscoll. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Brigette Martin Miller; and her siblings John Condon, Benjamin Condon, Ann Maher, Patricia Dooley, and Mary Kathleen Maher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St., Albany, on Monday morning, February 9th, at 10:30 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church prior to the mass from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peg's memory may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph Provincial House, 385 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110; or to a charity of one's choice.
