I worked with Jon for many years at The Evanglist newspaper, years of fun with only a rare disagreement here and there. Usually, the winner was named Jon. He was not only a co-worker committed to the paper but also a friend. My wife, Mary, and I along with other staff members always delighted to see Jon, and we remained in touch with him after he left the Capital District. There’s no need to say “May he rest in peace” because we all know he is in heaven.
