Mrs. Kilmade shared many kindnesses and her good food with me in years past.
It was clear to everyone who knew her that her family was always her priority.
My prayers and sympathy are with all her family.

While I did not know Mrs. Kilmade personally, I always heard many good things about her and good times they had together in Voorheesville from her good friend, my mother-in-law, Mary Michele Vitillo. I had occasion to speak to her by telephone(thanks to finding her contact info. in Mary’s personal telephone book) in March of 2014 when I informed her of my mother-in-law’s passing at that time. She was saddened by the news but pleased that she knew and recalled Mary & how close they had been in years past. Please accept the condolences of Mary’s husband Otto, her son, Otto Jr, and her sister, Violette Michele.

I knew Tommy when she worked at GCHS. I truly enjoyed her happy greetings, kind words and good food. She was always pleasant and cheerful. She greeted everybody with the same smile and friendly conversation, whether they were adults or students. I am sure that she continues to share the warmth in her new “kitchen.” I extend my condolences to her family and friends and I encourage them to remember what a wonderful human being she was, who touched many, many people.
