My thoughts & prayers to the family. I’m very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Mr. Breedlove but had a chance to meet his son, John, while on the USNS Comfort’s humanitarian mission. John is an exceptional person, as I’m sure his father was, he spoke highly of him. Again, my condolences during this difficult time.

Julie,
It was a shock for Vivian and me to read Tom’s obit in Saturday’s Gazette. We had seen you recently at SMS and Tom was as upbeat as ever. Our kind thoughts/prayers are with you even though we cannot get to the wake or funeral.
God bless,
John and Kathy DeLaMater
Dear Julie and family,
We are so very sad to hear of Tom’s passing, and deeply regret that we are in Florida and unable to be with you now. We’ve been “church buddies” at SMS for almost forty years now and watched our kids grow up together. For so many of those years, Tom would be the first person we’d see upon arrival for Mass . . . “on duty” as a greeter/usher. We’d always have a conversation, with Tom giving me (Kathy) a hard time about something or other. It’s going to be sad to come back and not experience his greeting each week.
We know that you will find comfort within your family and the “church family” at SMS. We are praying for all of you. May God hold you in the palm of His hand!
Chris and Laurie Coccio
