Therese Cresser

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Therese Cresser, 84, of Saratoga Springs passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013.  Born in Brooklyn on January 15, 1929, she graduated from Brooklyn High School.  She also attended Business College. Therese worked for the Brentwood School District, and was later employed by SUNY Albany.  She and husband Arnold Cresser  raised their family in Brentwood, Long Island, moving to Guilderland after the children were grown, where she was active in the Christ the King Church.  Therese loved to cook, shop and be with family.  She moved to Saratoga Springs in May 2013 to live with daughter Susan and John Mrowka.

Therese is survived by daughters Catherine Marchetti, Susan Mrowka and Karen Daino; her son James Cresser; her grandchildren Matthew and Marykaren Mrowka, Eric and Caroline Daino, and James Marchetti; and her great grand-daughter Madelyn Sophie Mrowka. She will be remembered and missed by all.

Her final gift was her Anatomical Gift to Albany Medical College.
