
EAST GREENBUSH – Susan Doran-Russ, 62, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, after a long illness. Born in Pennsylvania, Susan lived in many states before settling in East Greenbush. She received her BA from SUNY New Paltz and a Masters in Social Work from SUNY Albany. She worked at St. Peter’s Hospital and Catholic Family Services before starting a successful private practice. She will be remembered for her compassion, wisdom and sense of humor.
Susan was predeceased by her parents Richard and Virginia Doran; her brother David Doran; and her son Kyle Doran Russ. She was the loving mother to Caitlin and Todd Heim, Daniel and Judy Russ, adoring grandmother to Anabel Heim, sister of Amy, Steve and Michael Doran, and aunt to Kacie, Patrick, Sean and Mattie Doran.
