ALBANY – Sarah Jane (Quinn) Beeler, 62, died Thursday, October 4, 2018, unexpectedly. Sarah was born in Albany on August 1, 1956, to Shirley and Joseph (deceased) Quinn, and made it her home during her entire life. Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Edward; her four children, Christopher, Kathryn and her husband Mark Bradford, Genevieve and her husband Maximilian Ostrowski, and Thomson; her granddaughters, Emmeline and Charlotte Bradford. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Quinn; sisters, Deborah and husband Richard, Susan; and brothers, Jay and wife Nancy, and John and wife Leslie; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of The Academy of the Holy Names and The State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Sarah devoted her life to her family, creating a happy and loving home in which to raise her children and grandchildren. Her happiest moments were spent with her family, in her garden, at her home in Cape Cod, socializing with her book club, high school and college friends, and making a welcoming home for all. She was a life-long learner with a steadfast commitment to ensuring the happiness of her family each day. Her daily walks, talking with her family, reading on her deck, and spending time with her grandchildren fulfilled her life. Sarah’s unfailing support and advice was a constant source of light to those who knew her, and through them her spirit will live on. She will be profoundly missed, forever loved, and remembered.
Funeral services will be held at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Monday afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Family please except my deepest sympathy for your loss, tho I have lost a love one I am not you so I wouldn’t presume to know YOUR pain. But know that I do empathize and sympathize with you. May you take comfort in what our God promises in John 5:28, 29. And look forward to what he promises in Revelation 21:3, 4. So deeply sorry for your loss.
