From the moment I first met Bob as a new member of the Westmere FD almost 10 years ago he was immediately welcoming and friendly and took the time to introduce himself. I will always remember Bob as being fun, energetic and approachable. He was always quick with a one-linger or silly saying and had the drive of a younger man. He devoted so much of his time to the benefit of others and it certainly will not be forgotten. I genuinely will miss seeing Bob around the firehouse or at social events (or seeing him driving the fire trucks on all the daytime calls). I express to your family my deepest condolences and hope you realize the impact Bob had on so many others. Your family will be in my thoughts. -Bart

It is with a very heavy heart that I send condolences to his children and grandchildren. I have fond memories of Mr. Dinovo and his wife through firehouse events and while growing up with their daughter, Holly. He will be greatly missed by not only his family and friends, but also by the many members of the community that he touched. My prayers are with all of you.
