A chance meeting with Ray on a flight from New York to Albany in 1985, followed by an evening visit at 20 Holmesdale a few days later brought back fond memories of the mid-1960s; Ray Jr. – me – Ray Sr. watching TV and discussing whatever was important or in the news of the day. His thoughtful manner connected with me again in 1989 and in 1992 with comforting words penned in a card following the passing of my mom and then my dad. A kind and genuine manner defined Ray Number One and his family. May the fond and cherished memories be a comfort to Ray Number Two (my good friend) and the family that I remember so well.

Sully and Phil (III), please accept my sincerest thoughts on the passing of your father, Phil’s grandfather. My family and I will be praying for you and yours – for comfort and for peace. I lost my dad, Fred, a year and a half ago. Even though I miss him,I know he is finally getting the good night’s sleep he desperately longed for, in Paradise, in the same beautiful garden as your beloved Raymond and Peggy!
God bless you all,
Laura Fallon
