SOUTH BETHLEHEM – Paul F. Rogan, 59, of South Bethlehem, passed away suddenly at St. Peter’s Hospital after a short illness. Born in Manchester, NH, he grew up in Boston, MA and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Paul was a truck driver for 35 years, owning his own company and also working for Langer Transport in Jersey City, NJ. Paul was an active member of the Coxsackie Yacht Club, and had a passion for being on his boat – relaxing.

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Sandy; his children Paul Jr. and Liz Marie both of Pennsylvania; his step children Deborah Carmel (Guy) of So. Bethlehem and Kristen Rexford of Ravena; and his grandchildren Jessica Lyn and Joceline “Peanut” Carmel of So. Bethlehem. Paul will also be greatly missed by his feline friends.
Many thanks to our special friends Yvonne Fuller, N.P., Gary, and Velara, and to his best friends Charles & Ann Leto and Bill Ritz. Thanks also to the nurses on 6 McAuley, the Rapid Response Team, Dr. Matt Benn and Dr. Carol Burgess. Also thanks to the Coxsackie Yacht Club members who were great in helping Paul.
Paul unselfishly donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program of the Albany Medical College. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Sandy – I was so shocked to see the article in the paper tonight. Last time I saw you you said Paul wasn’t doing well but never really elaborated. Paul always wore a smile. I will remember him like that. We and very very sorry for your loss.
