
ROCKWOOD – Patrick J. Carberry, 51, of Rockwood, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home. He was an autobody repairman and owner of Pat’s Autobody in Rockwood.
Patrick is survived by his significant other Norma Jean Myers; his son Gerald O. Carberry of Altamont; his parents Gerald O. Carberry and Beverly Culm Carberry; his former wife Debbie Schanz of Altamont; his sisters Kathleen Dillon (Jeffrey) of Rochester, Colleen Moller (Jeffrey) of Knox, Linda Carberry of Guilderland, Margaret Brosnan of Guilderland, and Mary Moller (Randy) of Knox; by many adoring nieces and nephews; his many friends and his faithful dog Bud.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday morning at 10:00, and from there to Christ the King Church, Sumter Ave, Guilderland at 11:00. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather in the funeral home at 5:30 pm Thursday for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. The family suggests memorial contributions to Capital Region BOCES Suite 102, 900 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12205. my thoughts mand prayers are with all of the family, pat was a very good friend of mind, we laughed together alot i woiuld go up to pat and norma for dinner often play cards, and just have a good time . he always looked out for me .made sure i was taken care of sort of speak. he was the type of man that would give you his last dollar if you need it or anything he had. i will miss him so much but i will never forget all the good times we shared. he was the best of the best love you pat you will always be in my heart. love roxanne
