Pasquale S. “Patsy” Gaudio

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ – Pasquale S. “Patsy” Gaudio, 77, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, passed away peacefully at his residence after a brief illness on May 17, 2016.  Patsy was born February 2, 1939 in Hudson, NY, the son of the late Michele and Ida Gaudio.  Patsy was a lifelong residence of Albany. In retirement, Patsy traveled between homes in Albany and Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Patsy graduated from the Cathedral Academy and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving from July 1956 – May 1963. In 1969 he married the love of his life, Phyllis.  He was a member of the Albany Police department, and after leaving the police department he worked at Schaefer’s Brewery, then the NY State Office of General Services until retiring.  Patsy loved meeting his friends to play cards and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and never missed watching a game.

Patsy is survived by his only child Michael (Michele) Gaudio of Albany, his brothers Angelo (Roberta) Gaudio of Albany, Michael (Donna) Gaudio of Dunnellon, FL, and his beloved granddaughter Gabrielle who misses her poppy very much. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Pasty was predeceased by his wife Phyllis and his parents Michele & Ida Gaudio.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, on Monday from 4-7 pm.  Funeral services and entombment services will be held privately on Tuesday, where Patsy will be joined again with his wife Phyllis.  To leave a message of condolence for the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit  www.HansFuneralHome.com.  GO RED SOXS!!!!!!!!!
