Samuel Sonchil Yune

QUEENSBURY – Samuel Sonchil Yune, of Queensbury, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Virginia.  Samuel was born in Korea into a Methodist family and believed in God all his life.  He immigrated to the United States in August 1973 with his family.  He is survived by his wife Yong Sun Yune; his son Peter Yune (Jong Nam); his daughter Helen Yune-Lee (Vincent Lee); his brothers Sun Oh Yun and Sun Koo Yoon; and his granddaughter Constance Yune.  He was predeceased by his grandson Kenneth Yune, his eldest brother Sun Sam Yun, and his elder sister Sun Ok Yun.

A memorial service will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
