THE VILLAGES, FL - Robert Charles "Bob" Schuff passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in The Villages, Florida. He was born on October 12, 1926, in Albany, New York. Bob graduated from Vincentian High School in 1944 and enlisted in the United States Navy that same year. He attended Naval Radio School in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he trained as a Radioman Third Class. He proudly served in the Pacific until the end of World War II.

In December 1946, Bob married Kathleen T. Smith, beginning a loving and devoted marriage that lasted 50 years until her passing in 1998. He later found love again and married Katherine Maher of Chicago in 2001. They remained happily married until his passing.

Bob graduated from Siena College in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He went on to build a long and successful career with Kraft Foods where he worked for 33 years. He retired as Manager of Distributor Sales in Clifton Park, New York.

Bob’s faith was central to his life. He had a deep love for God and His son, Jesus Christ. He also cherished his family, enjoyed playing bridge and golf, was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, and had a lifelong appreciation for music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Schuff, mother Dorothea Klein Schuff, and siblings Donald, Joan Schuff and Carla Van Maldeghem. He is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine Schuff; his sisters Diana Craddock and Karen Orsini; his daughters, Christine Ackerknecht (John), Linda DeKostic (Richard), and Lisa Schuff (Gordon Reid); his sons, Gerald Schuff (Bonnie), Donald Schuff (Michele), and Robert Schuff (Denise); as well as nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Bob at Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave, Albany, NY 12203 on Friday, June 26th beginning at 11:00 a.m. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00. Entombment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave, Menands, NY. 12204.
