Richard M. Dechants

GREENFIELD CENTER – Richard Dechants was called upon to join his parents after a brief illness surrounded by his family. Born on October 14, 1932, he was the only child of Angelo and Mary (Parente) Dechants. A US Navy Veteran, he served aboard the USS General George M Randall during the Korean War. He retired from General Electric after a 37 year career. He his survived by his loving wife of 48 years JoAnn, his children, Bob (Gail), Brian (Dorothy), Diane (Preston), grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
