Nancy P. Palma

GUILDERLAND – Nancy P. Palma, 73, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center on Saturday, September 23, 2023, surrounded by family.  Born in Albany October 10, 1949, Nancy was the daughter of the late Vincent and Beverly McClune. She graduated from Albany High School in 1967 and went on to work for the New York State Unified Court System for 20 years before retiring. In 1999 Nancy married Abel S. Palma and enjoyed a life together in Guilderland.

Nancy found great happiness in cooking and travel. She was also an avid fan of Gaither gospel music. She loved to tend her vegetable garden and beautiful flowers, which she shared with her neighbors. Nancy’s family would like to offer a heart-felt thanks to the staff of the Our Lady of Mercy Life Center Nursing home for their kind and compassionate care during her stay.

Nancy is survived by her sons James and Scott Seymour; her brothers Thomas (Mary) and Martin McClune; and her sister-in-law Susan McClune. She was the grandmother of Danielle Martin, Hunter Somogie, Kyle Martin and Logan and Riley Seymour.  Additional family members include Anthony Palma, and Patricia Martin (Mark).  She was predeceased by her brothers Dennis and Kevin McClune.
