ALBANY – Mary (Bosco) Raciti, 99, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 8, 2023.  Mary was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (Spano) Bosco.  A life-long resident of Albany, Mary was a graduate of Albany High School class of 1941.  She was employed by the New York State Dept. of Agriculture and Markets and later by Bankers Multiple Line Insurance Company.  Mary was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and was deeply devoted to her family.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Nicholas P. Raciti, her brother Franke Bosco and her sister Anne Franchini (the late Lawrence).

She is survived by her daughters Madeline L. Raciti (Peter Neusel) and Joyce J. Towle (the late Gary C.) both of Albany, her grandsons David V. Towle (Carrie) of Bethlehem and Daniel C. Towle (Erin) of Clifton Park, her great grandchildren Nicholas and Emily Towle and Peyton and Cooper Towle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mary loved holiday family dinners, visiting her great grandchildren and writing messages to her many great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading, listening to Big Band music and tunes sung by Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.  Cape Cod was her favorite destination for summer vacations.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Saturday morning at 8:15 a.m., and from there to All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St., Albany (behind CVS) at 9:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 p.m.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
