SURPRISE, AZ – Jeanette M. Kelly, 80, formerly of Guilderland, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014.  Mrs. Kelly was born in Albany, one of seventeen children of the late Cyrille and Clara Terry DuShane.  She lived in Guilderland most of her life, but in recent years lived in Talladega, AL, and more recently with her daughter Kathleen and family in Surprise, AZ.  She and her husband operated a ceramics workshop at their home in Guilderland for a time.  She also helped her husband in his role as Chairman of the Albany County Conservative Club.  She was a communicant for many years of Christ the King Church in Guilderland, and later of St. Agnes Church in Cohoes.

Mrs. Kelly was predeceased by her husband Joseph John Kelly in 1991.  She is survived by her children Karen Teetsel (Mel), of New York, Donna Marsh of New York, Keith Kelly of Alabama, Jeanette Saddlemire (Alan) of Arizona, Kevin Kelly of Alabama, Patricia Banks of Florida, and Kathleen Bagley (David) of Arizona; her brothers and sisters Leona Hamelin, Retired Army Ranger Cyrille DuShane, Winifred Livingston, Alfred DuShane, Pearl Sauer, Betty Karz, Sharon Pratt; and by 14 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.  Entombment was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany.  Donations in her memory accepted by Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
