James Morris

MEDUSA -James Morris, 76, of Medusa, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. Jim was born February 13, 1941 in Manhattan, NY to the late Thomas and Fern (Schneider) Morris.  He was a man of many talents – Jim worked as a butcher and a maintenance man before starting his own cleaning service. He was also a member of the CSEA Union and spent time serving as Shop Steward. After retiring, Jim enjoyed watching history and crime dramas and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters.
Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carlotta (Hahne), daughter Christina Morris (Josh) of Little Falls and son James (Suzanne) Morris of Gallatin, granddaughters Amanda and Brianna Blakeslee, Lillian Morris, and Allyson Losee, great-granddaughter Adrianna Gardner, and several cherished nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanne Stewart of Jacksonville, FL. Jim was predeceased by two sisters, Constance Morris and Grace Patrick, also of Jacksonville.
