Frances Coluccio

ALBANY – Frances Coluccio who was born in Gela, Sicily in 1929 and immigrated to America in 1948 returned peacefully to our Lord on Wednesday, October 18,2023. She was a wife, mother, homemaker and seamstress. She will be remembered for her hard work, love of family, love of life and laughter as well as her cooking and conversation. She was predeceased by her husband Dominic and her half sister Mary Jane Ryan. Her family would like to offer special thanks to her caregivers Quinn Johnson and Donna Stewart. They provided Frances with a level of dignity and compassion beyond words. We would also like to thank Marita Breen and the entire team from Hospice Care.

Frances is survived by her six children Marie (Michael), Loretta, Joseph (Suzy), Frank (Joy), Rosanne, and Tina Connell (Bob); as well as her seven grandchildren Christina, Sarah, Katie, Hannah, Olivia, Isabella and Robert.  Frances is also survived by six great grandchildren, Andrew, Hazel, Jackson, Evelyn, Shepard, and Kendall.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m., and from there to Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave, Albany, at 9:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-7 p.m.  Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Community Hospice.  To leave a message of condolence for the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
