Charles E. Morris

GUILDERLAND – Charles E. Morris, 87, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at his home in Guilderland.  Born and educated in the Capital District, he was the son of Edward F. Morris and Anna Shade. Charles served in the US Navy from 1948-1952. He was employed by Albany Hardware and Iron, Sealy Mattress Co. and Watkins Spring Company until his retirement.  Charles was the loving husband of Marilyn Kingston Morris until her passing in 2014.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Avenue, Albany, on Wednesday, December 13th at 1:00pm.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home from 12:30 – 1:00pm Wednesday.  Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 475 State Street, Albany, NY 12203.  To leave a message of condolence for the family, or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
