Carmella T. DiBella

SOUTHBURY, CT - Carmella T. DiBella, 92, of Southbury, CT, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Carmella was born in Ravena, NY, and lived for many years in Albany, NY before moving to Southbury. She was employed for many years as a Senior Vice President of Key Bank in Albany. She was a long time volunteer for Red Cross and cat welfare organizations.

A beloved mother, Carmella is survived by her daughters Mary Lou DiBella (Patrick Edenburn) of Woodbury, CT, and Frances Reddix (Jasper Reddix) of Albany; her grandchildren Emma Kahn, Michaela Kahn, Matthew Reddix, and Nicole Reddix; and her great grandchildren Gabby and Vivian Kaplon.  She was predeceased by her son Joseph DiBella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St., Albany, NY on Tuesday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the church prior to the mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  To leave a condolence for the family, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
