
ALBANY – Nicholas A. Fabozzi, 78, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at his home. Nick was born in Albany, the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette Valenotti Fabozzi, and he lived here all his life. He attended St. John’s School in Albany, served in the New York Army National Guard, and was employed for many years by Hamilton News in Albany. He was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and the former St. Margaret Mary’s Church for many years, and he also served for many years as a Committeeman for the Albany County Democratic Party.
Nick is survived by his beloved wife Carol Warner Fabozzi; he also was the loving father of Debbie Pasquali (Jim), and Mary Beth Champagne of Guilderland; and the loving grandfather of Jennifer and Matthew Pasquali, and Aaron Champagne. He is also survived by his brother in law Sam Spadaro, and he was the loving uncle of Jo Ann and Paul Spadaro. He was predeceased by his sister Anna Spadaro.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Wednesday morning at 8:15, and from there to All Saints Catholic Church (formerly St. Margaret Mary’s Church), Homestead St., Albany at 9:00. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Cobleskill, NY. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204; or to the American Diabetes Association, Pine West Plaza, Washington Avenue Extension Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
