Michael J. Palmer

GUILDERLAND – Michael J. Palmer, 64, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at home after a long battle with cancer. Michael was born in Albany on September 10, 1954. He was the son of the late James and Margaret Palmer. Michael worked for Niagara Mohawk and National Grid since 1973. He loved his scratch-off lottery tickets and was always one to keep a conversation interesting.

Michael was the husband of Johanna Bremm; and the loving father of Amelia R. (Dustin) Palmer. He is also survived by his brothers, James (Jan) Palmer, David (Elaine) Palmer, Timothy (Donald) Palmer; and sisters Pam Bar-EL, Susan Moore, Terry (Danny) Markham, Wendy (Gary) Klipp, Cindy (Ray) Lynch, Khristine (Frank) Vozza. Michael was predeceased by his sister Gail Clements.

Funeral services will be held at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
