
ALBANY – Matthew P. Gallagher, 40, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Matthew was born in Albany, and lived here all his life. He attended Albany High School, and for many years was self employed. He also enjoyed fishing.
Matthew is survived by his children Brandon, Michaela, and Mason Gallagher; his parents Patricia J. Gallagher of Selkirk, and Lawrence Gallagher of Ballston Spa; his brother Scott Gallagher (Isela), of Gainesville, VA; his aunt Candace Shabez; and by his nephew Joseph Gallagher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St., Albany (behind CVS), Saturday morning at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday from 4-6 p.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
