Marion A. Fox

ALBANY – Marion A. Frederick Fox, 89, of Albany, died  Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.  Mrs. Fox was born in Albany, the daughter of the late George W. and Anna J. Steinel Frederick.  She lived here nearly all her life.  She was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names, class of 1940, and of the Mildred Elley Business School.  She also was a communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi, and the former St. Catherine of Siena Church.

Mrs. Fox was predeceased by her husband William R. Fox.  She is survived by her daughter Suzanne M. Reisner (Bruce); her granddaughter Kimberly A. Ravena (Brian); and her great granddaughter Emilie L. Ravena.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Richard Balsam for all his guidance and compassion, and the entire staff of The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital for all of their loving care.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday morning at 9:00, and from there to the Parish of Mater Christi, Hurst Ave., Albany at 10:00.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made t Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.  To leave a message of condolence for the family, send a sympathy card, or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
