CASTLETON-ON- HUDSON – Margaret E. Lampson Mull, 96, formerly of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Riverside Center. Margaret was born in Albany and lived in the area all her life. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and was employed by the New York Telephone Co. for 30 years. She also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Albany.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Richard E. Mull. She is survived by her sister Doris Knauf of Sherburne; her nieces Beth Knauf (Barry) Secor of Castleton and Janet Knauf of Sherburne; her nephew Peter (Regina) Knauf of Lenox, MA; her step granddaughters Shannon Simpson of Athens, GA and Tara Yaravitz of Webster, NY ; and by eight grand nieces and nephews and five great grand nieces and nephews.

Our family extends heartfelt thanks to Riverside Center caregivers especially Cheryl, Dara, Pat, Liz and Sister Valerie for their compassion and care of our “Aunt Peggy.”

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Kenwood & Elsmere Avenues, Delmar. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 Western Ave., Albany, NY 12203.
