Dear Cousins, I am saddened to learn of the death of your mother, my Aunt Lucille, though our lives have drifted about I have fond memories of shared vacations, birthday parties, weddings and other family gatherings. I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ will comfort all of you at this time of grieving and loss of your mother. May you find peace in knowing that she is resting in the arms of her Savior and will spend eternity rejoicing with the saints who have gone into eternity before her.

To Frank, Carmen and all the Guttos,
Wow, did reading your mom’s obit. bring back so many memories from yester year during our days at St. Teresa’s. Football, baseball, head on, you name it, we would play it from early morning till sundown on the Islands of Hackett Blvd.
And lucky for us, once Mr. Gutto left for the restaurant around 3 o”clock, we were welcomed into the Gutto home on the corner of So. Main and Hackett for pizza he brought home the night before and a soda or lemonade. Mrs. Gutto was always so nice and gentle to all of us. As a real young whippersnapper, I know I probably never thanked her enough then for her kindness and generosity to me and the entire neighborhood entourage. But today, I would like to make up for my past indiscretions, with a prayer for her and the whole Gutto family.

Dear Gutto Family, I am so sorry for you loss, but I can only imagine the pride that you must feel in having Lucille as a mother or grand mother. She was the kindest, most caring, and most hard working person I have ever met. Quite simply the best person I ever met, and I was proud just to have known her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help during this time, Mrs Gutto has done so much for me over the years, I can’t begin to repay her.
