COLONIE – Lucille A. Bradley, 83 passed away peacefully at her home on January 15, 2015.  She was born in Hoosick Falls on December 7, 1931. Her parents were the late Charlotte Welling Oliver and Augustus Oliver.  She was married to the late James V. Bradley on November 8, 1952. They raised their 5 children in Troy where she remained until 1995. She then relocated to Colonie to be near her daughter and family.

Lucille is survived by her 5 children, Mary Bradley (James Davis) of Albany; Gregory Bradley (Sandra) of the Bronx; Anne Bradley-Dieleman (Leo) of Alberta, Canada; Timothy Bradley of Long Beach, NY ; Lynne Bradley Holmes (Jeff) of Colonie;  and 12 cherished grandchildren, Brad and Adam Davis, James V. Bradley, II, Alexander and Martijn Dieleman, Sean, Jen, Lauren and Emma Bradley, James, Andrew and Matt Holmes. She was also the sister of Norman Oliver of Portland, Texas.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lucille was a women who dedicated her life to raising her family and loving her grandchildren. There were many wonderful summer days spent at “Grandma’s pool”.  She embraced each grandchild in her own soft spoken way with kindness and love.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Monday morning at 9:00am, and from there to St. Vincent DePaul Church, 900 Madison Ave., Albany at 10:00am.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 pm.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.  The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144.   To leave a message of condolence for the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
