Our thoughts & prayers are with Joan & rest of the family. We missed hearing the couch horn at the ocean in Florida signaling Tom’s arrival @ the beach. We enjoyed his stories & quick wit. Bahia Honda is not the same without him
Sara and Gene
First memory of Tom and Joan was when they were cruising down the Keys in a convertible with Bobby Darin blaring on the radio. Last memory was of Tom sauntering along the beach on beach patrol. Bahia Honda will not be the same without him. Thanks for the memories. Gene misses brother Tom. Love and peace to Joan and your wonderful family. Gene and Sara

Meyer & Beth Chambers
The Chambers Family (Beth, Meyer, Severin and Zachary) pay tribute to a great man. He was a great husband, a great father and to us, a great uncle. Uncle Tom will be missed, but his memory will be with us forever, especially for Severin and Zachary. Because of him, our boys know about harness racing and the joy of Saratoga in August. Tom’s giving spirit was there to the end as he shared a special gift with Zachary the day before he left us. Yes, he may be gone, but part of him will always be with us until it’s our turn to see him again. Requiescat in pace, Joseph Thomas Flynn.

Bad Boys & JoyciMountainMomma
All those stories and good times will be with us forever, echoing through the Adirondacks. A taste of bourbon may occasionally be had in remembrance of Joe Tommy……who will always be with us at Bad Boys Camp.
Jack and Betty Lloyd
We were very honored and privileged to have Tom as a friend. He was a fun loving and very patriotic person who loved to tell us his wonderful stories. We all have suffered a great loss. But we are going to carry on the tradition that Tom loved so much. We only knew Tom for 8 short years, but we spent many days together every winter on the beach in the Florida Keys.
” I now say farewell and wish you god speed. You’ve been a good kind and loyal friend to me, and you’ve made a real difference in my life. I will always treasure our relationship and think of you with fond memories, warm feelings and a special place in my heart.”

Mike & Darci Rauen
Our deepest condolences to Joan and the entire Flynn family. We first met Tom and Joan almost 20 years ago, renting underneath from them in the house on Ramrod Key. We met while Mike was curling my hair because I couldn’t (my one hand had nerve damage) Tom would joke often about that! Toms sense of humor was endless, His gift of gab remarkable, His benevolence for animals insatiable, He loved life and lived his life with that same passion. The Keys wasn’t the same without him, especially mornings at 5 brothers where Tom was a regular patron. Tom was a treasured friend! We will miss him always and cherish our countless memories. Heaven has another angel. Tommy we loved you dearly and miss you even more. Rest in peace. In the words of Emily Dickenson: “This world is not conclusion, a sequel stands beyond, Invisible as music, But positive as sound”
