We have fond memories of Joe, sitting on the porch with him sharing family stories and words of wisdom. I still recall him saying that his secret to longevity was a glass of red wine each night. He always gave us a reason to smile. We were welcomed to Helderberg Lake by both Marjorie and Joe…we often looked at them in hopes that we would be able to enjoy each other’s company as long as they did. In closing, we will miss Joe dearly, but his memory will live long in us. And Marjorie, you are in our thoughts and prayers…if there is anything you need, just ask…we are more than just neighbors…we are dear friends. With utmost sincerity, Bill and Hilary

Your dad was a wonderful man. About 15 years ago, I saw him at CVS in the Hannaford Plaza. He came up to me, called me by my first name and shook hands. I did not recognize him at first, and then he told me his name. I could not believe he remembered me. A great conversation ensued. I will never forget that. May he rest in heaven in peace.
