Fred, John, Bender, Mary and Patty. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. To all of us who grew up in the Saint Margaret Mary’s Parish and knew Joan through our friendships with all of you, this represents the passing of a true neighborhood icon! There was only one “Joan” and I hope you can take solace in knowing all of your friends will have nothing but great memories of the times spent hanging out at your home. Your Mom and Dad always made your friends feel welcome. Joan is back with Charlie now and together they will still be watching over all of you. And your friends, while sad that this day has come, will still smile while reflecting on the good times over the years knowing your Mom the way we did. Ed Barber
