I am so very sorry for your loss and I’m also sorry I’m so late with this condolence. I was the kid that lived across from the Kuttruffs on Yager rd. in TN. He was my best friend from the age of 7 to around 12 and I always wanted to tell him how sorry I was I missed his last week or two in TN. I was young and didn’t know how to deal with the thought of my best friend moving so I just avoided him and I never got to apologize for that. I never spoke to him again after he left TN. I’ll always remember the fun we had playing at that house. I spoke to Mark (a friend of ours from up the road who moved in after you guys moved out) and he sent me a photo of the old chicken coop in the barn that was our make shift club house way back when and it still had the old James Bond spy numbers we painted on the door as kids. That was about 40 years ago now. I pray your family can find peace, I just wish I could have found him a bit faster, I would have liked to have this conversation with him.

I was digging through some old high school stuff then decided to look Jeremy up, then I found this unfortunate news. I played guitar with Jeremy when we were in school, and still play today. My condolences to the Kuttruff family.

I have always loved Jeremy’s smile and ready laugh. When I think of Jeremy, I think of laughter, music, warm acceptance, and the way he was always interested and engaged in what I had to say whenever we would see each other. And the backdrop of my most recent memories is our family cottage on a peaceful lake with loving relatives all together. <3
