Jane VanDusen Pattison

WATERVLIET – Jane Pattison passed away in peace on Friday, July 8, 2022, in her home at the Shaker Pointe Residences.  Jane was born in Albany, NY on September 23, 1935, the daughter of Richard C. VanDusen and Ivy Thompson Achenbach VanDusen of Glens Falls and Queensbury, NY.  She dedicated her life to her family and the communities where she lived. Some of her passions, including her faith, were Literacy Volunteers, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Troy, NY), Capital Rep. and TAUM. As a SNJM Associate, she and John participated in missionary work over the years. Other interests included reading, music, gardening, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother, Richard C. VanDusen, Jr. and her son, James F.R. McQuade.  She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John R. Pattison; a daughter, Ivy E.S. McQuade; a son, David (Janine) C.H. McQuade; grandchildren Lydia (Brian Davis) T. Brockley, Nicholas (Brittany Agustin) C. Brockley, and a great grandson, Torren J. Brockley.
