My mother came to the McAuley Residence a couple of years ago and their rooms were side by side. I got to know Jane and loved her to pieces. She was sharp as a tack . I soon realized that she LOVED dogs and therefore, to brighten her days, I would bring Jack ( a black Lab mix ) and Suki ( a Pit bull mix ) to visit JUST her. The joy she got from them was indescribable. I took many pictures and would be happy to send them to you. I miss her but I know she’s in a better place. She was ready.
