About 25 years ago, I was a member of the golf league that Irene managed at the Hiawatha course. I will always remember Irene’s kindness and warm smile. I will always be grateful that she faithfully shepherded this groups of diverse women with good humor – and a lot of hard work. Irene was a fine lady. I’m sorry to hear of her passing.
