
ALBANY – Ida M. Gaudio, 96, of Albany, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Mrs. Gaudio was born in Italy, but came to the United States in the late 1930’s, settling first in Hudson, NY, then Albany. She was employed for many years by Cotrell & Leonard in Albany, and was a communicant for many years of the former St. Margaret Mary’s Church in Albany.
Mrs. Gaudio was predeceased by her husband Michele Gaudio. She is survived by her sons Pasquale “Patsy” Gaudio of Albany and Lake Havasu City, AZ, Angelo M. Gaudio (Roberta) of Albany, and Michael Gaudio (Donna) of Ocala, FL; her grandchildren Michael Gaudio (Melissa), Angelo S. Gaudio, Ida Marie LaChance (Joseph), Michael Gaudio, Marcia Rousseau (Josh), Christine Gaudio and Nicholas Gaudio (Melissa); and by three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Saturday morning at 8:45, and from there to All Saints Catholic Church, Homestead St., Albany at 9:30. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 p.m. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association of NENY, Pine West Plaza, Bldg 4, Suite 405, Washington Ave Ext, Albany, NY 12205.
