
GUILDERLAND – Hilda Rose Kamermayer Canetto, 93, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 29, 2016. Hilda was born in Catskill, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Kamermayer. She lived for a time in Sarasota, FL, but moved to the Albany area in 1956. She was employed for many years as a real estate agent, was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Guilderland for nearly sixty years, and also was a member of the Guilderland Seniors.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband Lee Canetto in 1994. She is survived by her son Jude Canetto (Kathleen) of Loudonville; her daughter Russelita Hoffman (Robert) of Hudson; her grandchildren Lauren Canetto, Seth Canetto (Toni Whitbeck), Ian Canetto, Robert Hoffman (Leeann Wagner), and Michael Hoffman (Erin Tsitsera). She was predeceased by her sisters Helen Martel, Dorothy Ward and Ann Goldsmith.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
