
COLONIE – Elizabeth M. Logan, 93, of Colonie, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. Peter’s Hospital. Mrs. Logan was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William Sager and Lillian Hammann Sager. She lived in Albany and Colonie all her life. She was employed by the First Trust Bank in Albany, and by the New York State Education Department. She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church in Albany, and sang in the church choir. She also enjoyed walking and reading, gardening and puzzles.
Mrs. Logan was predeceased by her husband John K. “Ken” Logan. She is survived by her daughters Kathy LaDuca (Charles) of Syracuse, and Janice Logan of Colonie; her grandchildren Kenneth LaDuca of Washington, DC, and Jeffrey LaDuca of Syracuse; her sister-in-law Mildred Logan of Albany; and by several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Herbert Sager.
Funeral services will be held in the First Lutheran Church, 181 Western Ave., Albany, Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the church prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Lutheran Church Abiding Memorial Fund, 646 State St., Albany, NY 12203. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany.
