
ALBANY – Elizabeth A. “Betty” Wilson, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Betty was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Marion McCarthy Carr. She lived here all her life. She was a communicant for many years of the Parish of Mater Christi and the former St. Catherine of Siena Church. She enjoyed the movies and keeping up with Hollywood, as well as maintaining her own home.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Charles E. J. Wilson. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Charles E. and Tamara Wilson of Saratoga Springs; her grandchildren David, Brian and Valerie Joy Wilson; and by three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday evening at 7pm, with Rev. Kenneth J. Doyle presiding. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 pm. Interment will be held privately.
