
ALBANY – Dolores J. Chambers, 75, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Dolores was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Shumsky Molitor. She lived here all her life. She was employed by the New York Telephone Co., Shop Rite, Albany County, and by the New York State Dept. of Taxation & Finance. She also was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and the former St. Margaret Mary’s Church. Dolores’ greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Debra A. Yates (Jeff) of Colonie; her grandchildren Jeffrey Alexander Yates and Ashley Morgan Yates; her beloved sister in law Denise Molitor; and by several nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Louis Molitor, and her sister Jacqueline “Sue” Lippitt.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, this evening, Wednesday evening, at 7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home from 4-7 pm. Interment will be held privately in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
