I met Diane when she arrived at the Neighborhoods of White Lake where I volunteer weekly with my therapy dog, Willow. Diane adored Willow and I adored Diane. Time spent with her was always the highlight of my visit at the Neighborhoods. I enjoyed listening to stories of her childhood, especially the one about her dog Pal who fell out of a window and survived with no injury.. She had a spark to her and always asked me questions about what was going on in my life. When I learned that she was in the hospital last week, I paid a visit to her there. It saddened me to see the decline that had quickly occurred. Perhaps I should have realized that it would be my last time with her. I didn’t however and found myself in tears when I learned of her passing. She will be greatly missed as someone special who touched my heart.
My condolences to you. I hope that you find comfort in your memories and peace in your pain.
With warm regards,
Sybil Phelps

Jeff and family,
I was so sorry to read the news of your Mom’s death this morning. I know how much she loved Cherry Hill and we loved her. I’m no longer there, but will share the news with the CH family. Loved spending time with her on many a Saturday shift. She spoke of you often, Jeff. Thinking of you at this difficult time. –Liselle LaFrance
