I worked with Cy at Wolberg Electric in the late 70’s to early 80’s. I was a young woman, fresh out of college and was delighted to encounter a man of such integrity and kindness in the workplace. He never failed to have a smile on his face, and was incredibly well liked and respected by everyone. When I left to have my first child, he gave me a lovely card, wishing me well and I have remembered his thoughtfulness all these years. My most sincere condolences to his family – he was truly a first rate gentleman in every sense of the word.

My condolences to Cy’s family. Reading of his passing brought back memories of living on Western Avenue, and attending P.S. 27 with Jack. I had met Cy as a teenager, and met Rhoda when I was at Albany High. I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories help you through this sad time.

I’ve had the privilege of know Cy for the past twenty or so years. His kind and gentle manners have been an inspiration to me. I really looked up to him. I knew things had been getting difficult for Cy over the past few years, and I send my deepest condolences to all family members.
