LOUDONVILLE – Constance K. Sorrentino, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Loudonville on June 17, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Mildred Keller Watson. She was predeceased by her brother Martin Watson and niece Raphael Celeste. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph, her cherished children Holly Ann (Scott) Stah and Joseph III (Mary Ann), and her adored grandchildren, Joseph IV, Lauren, and Benjamin Sorrentino. She is also survived by her sister Janet Pennell and her nephew Daniel (Carolyn) Celeste of Las Vegas, NV.

Connie worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Sidney Kolb of Glens Falls and Dominic DeLuke of Schenectady. She was employed by Sears in Colonie Center for 21 years as a display supervisor and loved her work. Connie was a long time crafter and excelled as a tole painter in her business, Different Strokes by Connie. She spent many years presenting at craft fairs with her daughter all over the Capital District.

Connie was an avid animal lover and had many cats and dogs throughout her lifetime. She leaves behind her tuxedo cat, Oreo. She enjoyed many trips to Florida to visit her sister and made many trips to Key West with her children.

Special thanks to Dr. Samantha Ludwig and nurse Diane of Community Care Physicians in Latham. The family would also like to thank Community Hospice of Albany and all of Connie’s caregivers for their loving care.

Connie has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical College. A celebration of Connie’s life is to be held at a date to be announced in the future.
