Sympathies to Carol’s large family. She was a presence in my parents’ as well as my life as a good neighbor (and occasional babysitter for me) for decades. Gipp Road won’t be the same.

Carol’s passing is a real loss for those of us in the Helderview Garden Club who have known her for years. She contributed much to the Club, including holding administrative duties as secretary. I will miss her friendly smile and her wit.

I was shocked to read Carol’s obit. I last saw her at our X-mas party for the Helderview Garden Club. She and Joyce were members for as long as I’ve been a member and she was always a hard worker, served as an officer several times, had a great sense of humor and had much to share with us of her gardening knowledge. May she rest in peace! We will all miss her.

We spent almost 20 years around Carol. She took us in as new members of the fire department and the rest is history! We spent many hours chatting it up about life, love, and kids! She will be terribly missed. Sending our love and prayers to the entire LaMountain family. She was an outstanding lady!
