Carol was a great friend and I will miss her so much. Her and my mother I know are right now in heaven sitting and just talking like they did on when you came to the house for Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner with Al. We wish you a safe journey and I know that you are up there driving around in your prized toy, your Corvette. We love you and will miss you so very much.

Allen, I was totally shocked and very saddened with this sad news. I am sorry that I haven’t stayed in touch better, but was always glad to see the two of you. My only excuse is that I must be getting old and lazy. I always loved her hats and will remember her that way. Keep your chin up and if you need someone to talk with remember I am here for you. With much love, Aunt Joan

We only met you and Carol once at the place in Menands. We are friends of Patty Casta’s. We were so impressed with her spirit and her joie de vivre in spite of the difficulty she had getting around. It was such a pleasure to be in her company and yours’ too. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

To Carol’s Family,
I am so sorry to learn about Carol’s passing. I attended Mercy High School. Carol was a junior and I was a freshman. She had so much energy and fun, She kept the Sisters on their toes waiting for what she was going to do next!! She just loved her Corvette and talked about it all the time.
We met again 1999 when we tried to re-activate the Alumnae Assoc. She was the Class of “63 rep. At the meetings, she was a quick wit and always a twinkle in her eye, despite her pain from a car accident.
Sister Renee’ was probably waiting at the Pearly Gates to greet “Miss Norton” with a loving embrace and welcomed her into Heaven. May Carol rest in peace.

Big Al,
I am so sorry for not only your loss but everyone who was touched by Carol’s personality and enthusiasm. She will be greatly missed at my gigs. I always knew that she would provide support and recognition to all that sang regardless of their talent. She knew how to make everyone feel important and welcomed by her applause and continuous smile.
God Bless her soul.
Sal
