
ALBANY – Carol Ann Warner Fabozzi, 80, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Carol was born in Richmondville, the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie Schaffer Warner. She was a graduate of the Albany Medical Center School of Nursing, and was employed for many years by the Albany County Dept. of Social Services.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas A. Fabozzi. She was the loving mother of her daughters Debbie Pasquali (Jim), and Mary Beth Champagne of Guilderland; and the loving grandmother of Jennifer and Matthew Pasquali, and Aaron Champagne. She was also the loving aunt of Jo Ann and Paul Spadaro, and Dr. Eugene Davis Day, Jr. (Julia); and cousin of Jody von Linden. She also leaves behind her dear neighbors Red and Mary Newell. She was predeceased by her sister and brother in law Shirley and Eugene Day, Sr. Carol is also predeceased by her loving feline companion Lovey and leaves behind her loveable cat Wink who helped her get through the past several months.
Carol’s family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to Dr. John Rosenberger for his compassion and care during the past several years. We would also like to thank the entire staff at Community Hospice for the loving care towards her, along with Lara and Sherry (Rite Aid) for all of their help and compassion.
Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Wednesday morning at 8:15 a.m., and from there to All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St. (behind CVS), Albany at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Cobleskill. The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society, or Whiskers Animal Benevolent League.
